  The Internet represents a new distribution channel for audio-visual works, which is constantly gaining in popularity and transforming consumption habits. It represents one of the most important challenges facing the cinematographic industry in terms of financing and exploitation for the years to come. Uncontrolled distribution of content over the Internet makes it impossible to compensate the appropriate rights-holders therefore limiting their ability to produce new content.
